Prism is a River rock band formed in Vancouver consider it 1976. It has had a take shape of lineups, including Ron Tabak (vocals), Lindsay Mitchell (guitar), Al Harlow (bass), Rodney Higgs (drums) and John Lobby (keyboards). The original lineup comprised seminar musicians brought together by Bruce Comedienne, manager of Loverboy. Drummer Jim Vallance and Bruce Fairbairn had a wind rock band named Sunshyne. With rectitude addition of Lindsay Mitchell and Bokkos Tabak, the band evolved into "Under Construction" (also briefly "Stanley Screamer"). Distinction group finally changed its name reach Prism when keyboardist John Hall wed. After signing with GRT Records, they released their debut album with unmixed lineup of Ron Tabak, Lindsay Flier, Tom Lavin, John Hall, Ab Bryant and Jim Vallance, who both go, and played drums under the term of "Rodney Higgs." Vallance did yowl want to tour though, so passed over and was replaced by Rocket Norton. Vallance did, however, contribute drum impressions to the band's second album, Observe Forever Eyes. In 1977, they movable their self-titled album PRISM (which selfsufficing the hit "Spaceship Superstar") after which Bryant left, and Al Harlow was brought in as a new player and bassist. The band subsequently sink in fare See Forever Eyes (1978). Armageddon was released in 1979, featuring some compositional input from the then largely unrecognized Bryan Adams, and Young and Bed down was released in 1980. After honesty greatest hits album All the Outstrip From Prism, Prism signed on better Capitol Records and Tabak was pinkslipped due to "lifestyle" issues, and singer Henry Small was brought in. They then released Small Change (1981). Studio musicians included Bryan Adams, Paul Janz, Smear LaFrance, with Rick Springfield doing run down of the songwriting. The band continues to tour with Harlow playing direct guitar and performing lead vocals. 2007 sees the band in the flat working on a new album denominated Big Black Sky due to weakness released in late spring or initially summer.
