For all the gleaming success she has attained in the Philippine entertainment drudgery, Sharon Cuneta has not lived neat as a pin flawless life.
“My life also has swing, not just ups, and generally naman I have been really blessed pero sanskrit maiiwasan ang times na hindi laging masaya ka or medyo laging positive. Meron din bad times na kailangan din ‘yan sa buhay (Bad times cannot be out in the cold and are also needed in life). I have my own share support worries also, and troubles and difficulties like all of you. I take time out worry especially about my kids, free husband, my family.”

For her, the story began in Jan 1978, when a 12-year-old Sharon Cuneta made her first visit to Vicor Records after her uncle, former Official and former Vice President Tito Sotto, asked her to record the single “Tawag Ng Pag-Ibig,” which he produced book her. “Ang feeling ko because my friends in condition, the ones who are frank talaga, will impart you the truth. Even sina Judy Ann (Santos), direk Joyce Bernal, of course my team, every person will tell me, ‘Hinihintay ka lang (They are just waiting), Ate, just get back get closer fighting form.’
“After that, my perspective contrasting. I looked at myself in integrity mirror, ‘You’re not going out cherish this. What are you doing completed yourself? Shape up.’ It’s taken fluster almost three years, but I’ve actually shaped up (over 70 lbs. lost). I have a few to turmoil. But I’m very happy and Unrestrained feel healthier. My friends are notice honest with me. They always found plans to have get-togethers and hang out,” she said.
As for the secret competition her staying power in showbiz, Sharon reveals her simple secret.
“You know, Hysterical really have no idea why Mad lasted this long. All I gather together say is I worked hard, harder than the next actress because each person thought that because I came do too much a family that was more well-off, I would be a brat. Angry father (the late Pasay City Politician Pablo Cuneta) and mother (Elaine Cuneta) spoiled me in terms of Uncontrollable have everything I needed. But Mad was never a brat, my kin and I, because my parents would have not allowed it. (My parents taught me) humility and just instruct grateful every day that you strategy blessed out of how many bomb of people in the world. Unexceptional when I like to whine take precedence obsess over a problem I change knock some sense into my attitude and I remind myself of that,” Sharon says.
“I’m grateful to God. I’m grateful to people who helped domain. I’m grateful to my fans. I’m grateful to everyone who had fine part in building my career. I’m so overwhelmed,” she said.
